Pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Cusco and be transferred to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo. This trip is approximately 2 hours.
In Ollantaytambo we are going to take the train to Aguas Calientes. This will take approximately 1.5 hours.
You will arrive at Aguas Calientes where you will be assisted with your hotel check-in. You may indulge in some souvenir shopping and explore the small town in the afternoon. Learn about your trip to Machu Picchu during a meeting with your guide in the evening. Rest for the night and get ready for your morning bus trip up in to the mountains.

In order to take one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu, to beat the crowds, and to have an opportunity to see this World Heritage site in the early morning light, we will have to take an early bus.
Discover the ancient site of Machu Picchu with a 2-hour tour, led by your expert, local guide. View the gardens, shrines, and water channels of the lost civilization and make the most of your own free time as you have the chance to wander round the ruins on your own.
Spend time exploring this amazing site before taking the bus back down to Aguas Calientes and returning to Cusco via train.
